We would rather be round than square, wouldn’t you? Round ice cubes have a smaller surface area compared to their square counterparts which helps them to melt slower and to keep your drink cooler for longer, cheers!

We talked about packaging for a long time and wanted to focus on reducing environmental impact as much as possible. For us, this looked like reducing plastic where we could and making all our plastic parts recyclable. 

Insulated bags create more plastic and didn’t allow for a recycling option which ended up being the deal breaker for us. (Spoiler: It is a dream of ours in the future to create a reusable bag to carry your Social Sip on your way home from the store)

2kg bags are the perfect size to fit in your freezer without having to sacrifice on space, and because the whole bag fits, you can store it from weekend to weekend until you run out. 

We have meticulously chosen the size of the bag to house the perfect number of ice balls for a party of your closest friends without running out before the fun is over. 

YES! We know that quality beats quantity every day of the week. We don’t want our ice to taint the taste of your drink, so we filter it until it is crystal clear. 

It’s a no for now, but not a no forever. Sending ice from sunny QLD across the country is difficult but we are working on coming to a store near you soon and with every Uber Eats, Jimmy Brings and Door Dash option available on your phone, you may just be able to add Social Sip to your next delivery soon.
